Periodista-Comunicadora Social de la Universidad Central, con casi 20 años de experiencia en el ejercicio del periodismo escrito.
Fue redactora de EL TIEMPO desde los 19 años, donde hizo carrera desde reportera de secciones como Bogotá, Ciencia y Salud y Domingo, hasta editora de contenido de eltiempo.com, cargo que ocupó durante cuatro años.
Estuvo vinculada a esta casa editorial durante más de diez años. También se desempeñó como asesora del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente en los noventa y fue jefa de prensa de varios ministros de esa cartera durante esa década.
También fue asesora de prensa y posteriormente jefa de prensa de la CAR y, recientemente, asesora de comunicaciones del Instituto Distrital de la Participación.
Ha sido varias veces galardonada por su trabajo en prensa escrita, con premios como el SIP en el año 94 y dos CPB, entre otros. Se le conoce como cronista especializada en el tema ambiental, campo en el que se ha desempeñado también como editora de textos, docente universitaria y editora de revistas.
Estuvo vinculada a los procesos de formación de jóvenes durante su paso por EL TIEMPO, tanto en el proyecto Periodismo Objetivo para la Juventud (POP-J) del Programa Prensa-Escuela a comienzos de los 90, como en el Proyecto Código de Acceso donde fue tutora de redacción del 2000 al 2003. También ha hecho televisión y radio, como presentadora de espacios institucionales, e investigadora. Tiene 39 años.
Su proyecto para Código de Acceso 2008 está basado en tres ejes: despertar la sensibilidad de los jóvenes hacia su entorno social y cultural; reconstruir con ellos experiencias y vivencias que puedan comunicarse para enriquecer y contribuir a la construcción de una sociedad en la que ellos escojan la opción de la ciudadanía activa, y disponer la mente hacia el trabajo colectivo. El objetivo básico es motivar y reforzar el desarrollo de las capacidades de los jóvenes para comunicar, liderar y participar.
El énfasis será la reportería permanente, en la que los jóvenes desde su entorno, localidad, proyecto social, escuela o universidad, descubran, observen, investiguen, analicen y comuniquen sobre una ciudad que requiere afianzar los espacios dispuestos para las nuevas generaciones.

Aprovecho nuevamente esta oportunidad para recordar a las familias que son descendientes de los Perez que estan invitados a participar de este blog, medio de comunicacion de internet, que la vida moderna nos ha llevado a acortar y simplificar hoy en dia las comunicaciones y poder ver nuestras fotografias y comentarios desde cualquier parte del mundo pero principalmente a dejar consignado las direcciones y demas datos para ubicarlos y mantener constante dialogo para la gran efemerides.

Pérez.. ¿Origen Judio?

El apellido Peretz (o Pérez) es un nombre hebreo, que corresponde a uno de los hijos de Yehudá el hijo del patriarca Iaacov.

Apellidos Sefarditas

Entre los apellidos de judíos españoles es fácil reconocer oficios, designados en árabe o en hebreo, como Amzalag, joyero; Saban, jabonero; Nagar, carpintero; Haddad, herrero; Hakim, médico; profesiones relacionadas con la sinagoga como Hazan, cantor; Melamed, maestro; Dayan, juez; y títulos honorables como Navon, sabio; Moreno, maestro nuestro y Gabay, oficial.

Es popular el apellido Peres, muchas veces escrito Pérez, con la terminación idiomática española. Pero no es apellido de origen español sino la palabra hebrea que designan los capítulos en que la Torah (los cinco libros de Moisés), se divide para su lectura semanal, a efectos de completar en todo el año la lectura de la Torá.

Muchos apellidos españoles adquirieron pronunciación azkenazi en Polonia, como ejemplo Castelanksi, Luski (que viene de Huesca, en España). O tomaron como apellido Spanier (español), Fremder (extraño), o Auslander (extranjero). En Italia la inquisición se instauró después que en España, de ahí que hubo también judíos italianos que emigraron a Polonia. Aparece el apellido Italiener y Welsch o Bloch, porque Italia es llamada Wloche en alemán.
